The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. To mark the occasion, it offered online stories about 50 NEH-funded projects from those 50 years. I wrote five of the entries: Shakespeare Lives On; Online State Encyclopedias; The King James Bible; Aquila Theatre; and America’s Digital Library.
